Trend spot: Halo Braids

April 27, 2018

If you are looking for the best hairdresser Clapham has to offer this summer then make sure you are clear on how you want your hair styled.

Halo braids are on trend and are just what we need for the festival season. Keep that hair looking pretty and stylish but up and out of your face. Halo braids are perfect for any hair type and can be readily adapted.

If you have shortish hair then you will need to French braid around your crown, and if you have longer hair then you may need to wind a braid around your head.

If you have thicker hair then you will get a thick voluminous look without much effort, and if you have thinner hair it should be easier to work.

Still aren’t convinced? Here is where we have seen some of the hottest halo braids in recent months.

Spotted:

  • Designer Vicky Zang used these on her models this 2018 spring/summer fashion week
  • Sarah Jessica Parker headed off this trend with a Grecian-inspired halo braid at the Golden Globes back in 2017
  • Imam also sported one back in 2016.
  • Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner wore one to the season 6 Game of Thrones premier
  • Emma Roberts wore ta spectacular halo braid 8th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event in New Jersey.
